Inserting an external reference from ImandrA

The process for inserting or attaching a block, part, external reference, or raster image from a vault into a drawing is the same.

To insert or attach an external reference from an ImandrA vault:

1. In one of the following:

• ImandrA menu

Click Insert and then click Block or External Reference or Raster Image depending on the action you want to perform. The corresponding AutoCAD dialog appears. The ImandrA Open File dialog appears, similar to the following figure.

2. Navigate to the folder in the vault that contains the block, external reference, or raster image that you want to insert.
3. Select the drawing and click Open. The ImandrA Open File dialog closes.
4. Complete the insertion process in the CAD application. The selected drawing is automatically copied to the folder where the current drawing resides and is inserted or attached accordingly.
